Instead of attending boarding school, Peder chose to pursue his talents onstage. He returned as Who Boy and Young Max in Dr. Seuss's, How The Grinch Stole Christmas!, directed by Peter Brosius. Erik Lindell and
Mrs. Peder's vocal abilities caught the attention of The American Boychoir; he was asked to audition and later was accepted.
His dedication was unmatched, in Gypsy, he would perform the show backstage while the live show was happening.
Peder’s father, Erik, a pilot and Duke Divinity School graduate, and his mother, Sally, nurtured his talents early on.
He has a younger sister, Siri Lindell, with whom he shares a close bond.
Peder’s love for performing started young, singing in the Northfield Youth Choir at age six and auditioning for the American Boychoir.
Peder attended Northfield High School but spent much of his time in theater, with supportive teachers helping him balance acting and academics.
He later moved to Los Angeles to study at Loyola Marymount University, where he’s pursuing a BA in Theatre Arts, set to graduate in 2025.
Career
Peder Lindell began acting at 11, playing Billy Ray in On Golden Pond at The Jungle Theater.
His stage work grew with roles in Gypsy at the Pantages Theater and The Boy and Robin Hood, earning praise for his “impressive naturalism” (St.
He brought his passion for singing into the opera. As a multi-sport varsity athlete, he has experience in hockey, soccer, wrestling, diving, baseball, skateboarding, snow sports, water sports and is also an advanced certified scuba diver. He was selected for the opera La Bohéme which led to several other classics including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hansel und Gretel, Gianni Schicci, and more.
