It's like Ed Asner, Elijah Muhammad and Secretariat.
Kramer: [enters] I thought we were friends.
Jerry: Here we go.
Kramer: I mean, how could you two keep this a secret from me?
Jerry: It's not true.
Kramer: Ah, enough lying.
What is the big deal?
Summary
No thanks to Elaine, Jerry must work hard to prove he is straight when a college reporter mistakenly reports that he and George are gay, "not that there is anything wrong with that." Things really get out of hand when the article is picked up by the New York Post. It was a show about "nothing", whose only real goal was to make its audience laugh without resorting to any of the typical sitcom tropes or family-friendly fare.
I was half-naked.
George: It's not true.
Estelle Costanza: Every day it's something else with you. Acceptance for these people only goes so far.
Thankfully, in the 15 or so years since this episode first aired, attitudes have become more enlightened. I'm Buck Naked.
Estelle Costanza: You're who?
As it turns out, the woman, Sharon, happens to be a newspaper reporter who is planning on interviewing Jerry. In the end, their worries were all for nothing. I'm not gay. I knew you looked familiar.
George: Oh, no!
Without a doubt, one of the best.
