Mehdi now looks completely different from his Love Island days and has shared his new style with his 60,000 followers on social media.

Speculation also contributes to a culture of erasure.
All that said, we'd certainly welcome a more sexually diverse Love Island; a space where contestants were given a platform to discuss their preferences outside of standard heteronormative structures these reality shows often people in.
Responding to the unnecessary conjecture, he told Daily Mirror, "I was 100% myself in the villa. Writing on Instagram when announcing the new role, Mehdi said: "Being blessed by life is a gift, but the ability to give back is an even greater privilege.
